Fast Entrecard drops - a detailed guide
While figuring out how to drop Entrecards as fast as possible, I learned a few things. If you’re thinking “how can I get more entrecard drops on my blog“, or maybe “how do I drop 300 entrecard cards per day“, then you’ve come to the right place. I wrote this guide because I’d like to share these Entrecard dropping tips with you:
- Drop 300 cards a day. I know that that sounds like a lot, but if you’re aiming for 300 card drops a day, you’re more inclined to try harder. It’s a lot easier than it sounds. All you need to do is drop your card, and then move on. There are a few different ways to drop your maximum amount of Entrecards every day - have a daily Entrecard drop list, go through your Entrecard Drops Inbox and reciprocate every drop someone has made on you, visit a fast loading site drop list, go bloghopping/sitehopping - visit a site, drop your Entrecard, then click on the advert, visit that site, drop your card, ad infinitum - or even a mixture of these.
- Set up a daily Entrecard drop list. This can be as large or as small as you like - mine has about 40 sites in it, and contains blogs that have reciprocated well on me, as well as friends who have the Entrecard widget on their site. Every single day, I visit this daily drop list and drop my card on each blog. This creates a good feeling with those blogger’s because they know they can rely on me for a credit. I often tell people that I’ve added them to my list. All it takes is a comment on their site, and they might add me to their list in return.
- Always reciprocate your Entrecard drops. Someone who reciprocates a drop you made on their blog is a resource it’s imperative that you cultivate. Reciprocated drops are the best kind, because it shows that a person values your drop. Someone who is prepared to reciprocate is more likely to do so in future, and if you cultivate a bond of reciprocated dropping between you, they’re liable to focus their drops on you in future, which means you have a higher change of getting a drop from them every day. To reciprocate drops, go to your Entrecard Dashboard, and click on Drops Inbox. In here, you’ll find the adverts of everyone who has dropped on you. Go through this list, and drop your card on every blog.
- Try visiting an Entrecard site drop list. This is a list of sites that load quickly, with their Entrecard widget highly visible - usually above the fold. A well maintained Entrecard drop list can be found at Powerdropping.com. This site has 300 sites that load quickly and have a very visible Entrecard advert, which means that you can drop quickly. The less time it takes a site to load and the more visible the advert, the quicker you can drop.
- Bloghopping AKA sitehopping is the act of visiting a site with an Entrecard advert, dropping your card, and then visiting the advert on the card. This means that the site owner gets a better rating, and you automatically go to a site that is primed for accepting your card. You get to find a lot of interesting new blogs this way, and quickly and easily drop your card 300 times, because you’re in a chain of Entrecard ready blogs.
- Use your browser to help you drop faster. I use Firefox, with several useful addon’s that enable me to make sites load quickly, drop my card quickly, and then move on quickly. I wrote an article on this very subject, which you can find here.
- Check every few days to see how often someone reciprocates a drop on you. This is viewable on their profile. If you’ve dropped on them consistently for 30 days, and they haven’t dropped on you once, re-evaluate whether they should be on your list, taking up a precious cards - invest your time and cards wisely. It’s better to give to someone who reciprocates or drives traffic to you than someone who ignores you, I think.
- If you see a site that says “I track drops and reciprocate” or “add yourself to my daily drop list“, make a note of them - add them to your drop list. An example of a site that allows you to add yourself to a daily drop list is FitnessLifeClub.com. Bloggers who do these thing are a good source of reciprocated drops. If someone is offering you the opportunity to get dropped on every day, take it!
- Set up a fast loading drop page. A drop page is a page that is small in size - less than 5kb - has no pictures & has the Entrecard widget in a prominent position. An example can be found at Srajaram.com. The linked page loads very quickly, and the widget is nice and clear, so you can drop and be on your way quickly. Serious Entrecarder’s appreciate pages like this, because it’s quick and clear. They’ll be more likely to come back if they don’t have to hunt for your card.
- Don’t engage in any illegal Entrecard activity.

I’d like people to actually read my blog when the visit. Not just drop and leave. Also, if you drop 300 a day and have to reciprocate all who drop on you, I don’t see how that would only take 15 minutes.

It’s possible to drop 300 cards in about 15 minutes, if you do it fast enough. Obviously if you stop to read the blogs, it’s going to take longer, but the premise of the guide is that some people want to reach 300 drops as fast as possible, instead of spending more time every day doing it.

Trial and error.
Blogs cost the price they cost for a reason - a cheap blog will cost less to advertise on, but you’ll likely get less clicks. A dearer blog will cost more, but you’ll likely get more clicks. It’s just a matter of finding a good average.
